1. What do you enjoy most about your role at Vintage?
Being able to connect startups and corporates. The ability to connect the right technology and startups with the right corporate gives me great satisfaction.
2. If you had to name a “single most impressive thing” about Vintage, what would it be?
Its values – honesty, respect, helping everyone, learning new things all the time, and being modest. Everything we do at Vintage is based on it.
3. What is the biggest hype at this moment in your view and why?
I must say AI. The interesting thing that we see is that it goes both top-down and bottom-up. Top-down in the sense of corporate management wanting to do something with it and button up as the tech is so innovative, so the business lines and product teams want to work with it.
4. What do you find is the best thing about Value+?
The endless opportunities. As we help connecting corporates and startups, we have so many verticals from which to learn, and there are so many different ways to achieve our goals.
5. What is the most valuable personal investment that you’ve ever made?
My decision to travel for a year in my 20s. The experience was one in a lifetime, traveling without any worries, meeting people, and opening my mind to new possibilities.
6. What is something you would still like to learn how to do?
Surfing. I love the sea and I do some water sports. Surfing is something I haven’t mastered yet.
7. What is a book you would recommend?
The Dynasty by Jeff Benedict. It is the story of the New England Patriots dynasty. I am a sports fan and like reading sports books. This one opened my eyes to the fact that in order to achieve greatness – having the best player of all time and the best coach won’t be enough for the long term – you have to build the right organization.
8. What advice would you give your younger self?
Technology will change the world. You have to get to know it very well and constantly.
9. What was a challenge you faced/overcame in your career?
Two years ago, I left the public sector after many years. The transition was not easy, but it turned out well – as I had the opportunity to join Vintage’s Value+ team.
10. When you were a kid what did you want to be when you were older?
I am still figuring it out.
